In December I went snowboarding in Kaprun and after I traveled to Bangladesh and my 3 week trip to Maldives I packed my winter gear again for my annual snowboarding trip with my best friends in Italy. After Italy I only planned to go to Berlin for the biggest travel expo in the world and then book a ticket to Georgia to start my adventure on the Silk Road. Things went different though…

For more than 2,5 years I lived an island lifestyle on the most incredible beaches in Asia and Australia and hardly saw the mountains, apart from climbing Mount Rinjani in Lombok. Yes they were calling many times but I didn’t get the chance to answer those calls. Yet a couple weeks ago, right before Christmas there was an opportunity to return to Austria after 2,5 years and it was an easy decision to drive down to Kaprun and stay at Avenida 24 from Alpin Rentals.
