I visited Bosnia and Herzegovina during my Balkan road trip itinerary and honestly, I did not have many expectations. I just crossed the border by car and started exploring. Looking back, that was the best way to travel in Bosnia and Herzegovina, because the country surprised me from the very first day.

When you travel to Bosnia, the amazing Kravice waterfalls must be part of your itinerary. In the summer months more than 200.000 tourists and 50.000 locals visit Kravice Falls, which makes it one of the most popular tourist spot in Bosnia. Of all the countries I passed through on this Balkan road trip it was probably Bosnia that stole my heart the most. Before my trip I thought it would be Montenegro, but things turned out the be different. At the end of my Balkan trip I was in southwest Serbia visiting Uvac Canyon close to the Bosnian border and I decided to travel to Bosnia once again the day later.

A couple weeks ago there was only one unexplored region in Europe left for me to discover and this trip was on my bucketlist for so long already. Finally I found time to go on a Balkan road trip and explore 6 new countries. I had been to Slovenia and Croatia before but not yet to Bosnia, Montenegro, Albania, Macedonia, Kosovo and Serbia. I was super excited to see all the Balkan highlights and was more than delighted to do this road trip with my super chill Peugeot 5008, my new favorite car.
